Reverend Kristin Steed
Senior Pastor
Rev. Kristin Steed began serving as Senior Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in July 2026. She is passionate about helping people grow in their faith, understand Scripture in new ways, find a place to belong, and reach beyond the walls of the church to serve and love our neighbors.
Kristin began serving in ministry at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, where she served in communications, adult ministry, children’s ministry, family ministry, and youth ministry before being appointed to Trinity. She is a Provisional Elder in The United Methodist Church and completed her theological education at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, graduating in 2024.
Preaching, teaching, worship, and helping churches create spaces where people experience belonging and the grace of God are at the heart of Kristin’s ministry.
Kristin and her husband, Trent, have two daughters, Lyla and Nora, along with two fur babies, Lucy and Ethel. Outside of church, she enjoys spending time with her family, learning to garden, reading about half the books for book club, and finding new exercise opportunities that might actually keep her coming back.
